Continuing Safe Ministry Training in the Diocese of the Murray during 2018
Following consultation with all Parishes and Pastoral Districts, the Diocese has finalised its Safe Ministry seminars for 2018, as part of its ongoing effort to provide training for those who have or intend to hold ministry positions in The Murray.
The Safe Ministry Training is required for anyone who holds a licence as a Bishop, Priest or Deacon, or is a Lay Minister holding the Bishop’s Licence to Preach, ministering communion while robed, involved in the leadership of worship, involved in children’s and youth ministry, ministering to the elderly and vulnerable, an official hospital or home visitor, all choir directors, a churchwarden or a paid op shop manager.
The relevant dates have been added to the calendar.

The Diocesan Safe Ministry Screening Questionnaire and a new National Police Clearance are required. Forms are available on the Diocesan website or from the Registry.
