Funerals

The churches of the Pastoral District of Southern Vales are available for funerals.

They provide an ideal peaceful and unhurried setting for saying farewell to loved ones.

It is always necessary to confirm time and availability of the church and clergy in advance, before any other arrangements are put in place.

Our Clergy are often willing to take Services at Funeral Directors’ premises, Crematorium Chapels and Cemeteries.

There is also a form of prayer (Committal) which is used at the graveside or when ashes are committed to the ground (interred).

There are several Anglican cemeteries and places for the interment of ashes at the churches of our Pastoral District.
